Kabbalat Shabbat

Most religious or cultural groups celebrate a day of rest (Sabbath). The Jewish Sabbath starts on Friday evening, so we enjoy a day of learning in a festive atmosphere including song and dance. Songs are in English and Hebrew which enables our children to extend through exposure to a language of different symbols and reading from right to left – with two languages often stated as being positive for early brain development.

  • 3 – 4 year olds
  • Songs and basic Sabbath ceremony participation
  • Values that help children learn to treat each other with respect and appreciate the world around them
  • Learning about the Jewish Festivals at certain times of the year
  • Fun way to be introduced into Kadimah Preschool

The Details
